On 1 December 2008, Wirthlin "had gone to bed at his Salt Lake City home, and died peacefully at about 11:30 pm of causes incident to age:Today I have been thinking a lot about how much i love the Gospel... Then it brings me to think about Joseph B. Wirthlin and what a true inspiration he is for so many people. I am taking things in my relationships day by day and starting to have more hope in all things! This man will be greatly missed! He will be able continue his great work on the other side and how wonderful will that be when our times come and we get to reunite with loved ones and friends…. It truly is a blessing. I Love our Prophet dearly and his apostles and all those under him. May we all Continue to follow the prophet and the teachings of his apostles as well!Come what may, and LOVE it!
